We do our best to ensure product satisfaction, however if you are not satisfied or if you believe your product is faulty please send us an email at info@creatureofhabitskincare.com within 14 days of purchase and we will be able to look into it for you.

We are unable to accept returns or process refunds due to skin conditions or allergic reactions. Please be sure to always read the full ingredients list, suitability information and directions of use on the product description before placing your order. We also recommend you conduct a patch test when you introduce a new product into your routine, particularly if you have sensitive skin. See below how to conduct a patch test. 

UK Shipping:

Delivery within the UK costs £3.00 and will take around 2-3 working days (Royal Mail 2nd Class) and orders over £50 are free.

International Shipping:

International Tracked (incl. Europe) is from £9.80 and will be calculated at checkout and will take around 3-7 working days. Tracked and insured in the event of lost or damaged goods.

Customs Charges:

Custom charges can occur for orders shipped outside of the UK.

You will be directly responsible for these payments. We cannot be responsible for any customs charges, import duties, or taxes that may be charged to you, or any shipment that is stopped or disposed of by customs, so we advise you to check with your local customs before making your order.

If your payment is declined, please check you have entered all your details correctly, including your billing address. If you’re still having problems placing your order, please contact your bank directly prior to emailing us.

We do not test any of our products on animals, and we don’t work with any suppliers who do. We continually monitor our suppliers to ensure the ingredients adhere to the highest quality and have not been tested on animals.

Yes. Currently our Anywhere Everywhere Balm is the only non-vegan product as it contains a beeswax derivative.

Yes! Patch tests are used to determine how your skin reacts to a product. It is important to patch test before introducing a new product to your routine even if you don’t have sensitive skin because certain ingredients may be highly irritating.

See below on how to carry out a patch test. 

We have outlined a general method for conducting your own patch test.

Apply a small amount of product onto a clean area of skin on the upper forearm – the inside of your elbow is a good place. Keep the area dry and after 24 hours rinse the area. If there is any redness, burning, itching, blistering or irritation at any time throughout the test, do not use the product.

Note: A patch test is only for determining initial irritation reactions to products and does not guarantee similar results when applied to other areas of the body (including the face) or after continuous use. It does not account for underlying conditions and should not be used for the diagnosis of hypersensitivity or allergic contact dermatitis. 

All the glass containers can be readily disposed of in your weekly recycling collection. We do use plastic lids, which are made from polypropylene. These can be recycled; however you will need to check with your local authority whether you are able to dispose of it in your household recycling.

Always make sure you wash out any old product and remove labels before recycling. Another great thing you can do with the containers is re-use, repurpose or upcycle them – Check out our upcycling Blog Post for ideas.
